New Creation

New Creation

By the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, I was given His eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8 (NLT) “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”

My cold hard heart was circumcised out of me and replaced by a warm soft heart with His love poured all over it.
Ezekiel 36:26 (CSB) “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Romans 5:5 (NIV) “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

My old self was crucified, dead and buried.
Romans 6:6 (NIV) “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin”
Galatians 2:20 (NIV) “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Father gave me a new spirit making me a brand new creation with no past.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

He gave me His righteousness, making me accepted and compatible with Himself.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV) “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
Ephesians 1:6 (NKJV) “to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”

He put His Spirit in me so fully that He says I am one spirit with Him.
1 Corinthians 6:17 (NLT) “But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.”

Oh yeah, He also took all my sin away making me righteous, holy, and blameless forever.
1 John 3:5 (NASB 2020) “You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.”
John 1:29 (NASB 2020) “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Ephesians 1:4 (NIV) “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”
Colossians 1:22 (NASB 2020) “yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach”

Saint, you are a new creation. You have become the eternal child of the Most High God. You are bound to Him with an unbreakable union. You are blameless, righteous, and holy. You are accepted and above reproach.

Live from this truth.
