Having it All

Reaching your potential is a popular topic of books, classes, and motivational speeches.

Like you, I want to reach my full spiritual potential. For years, I read the Bible, devoured books by Christian authors, attended seminars, and dedicated myself more fully. I was looking for the key that would result in my life lived by perfect faith, far above the fray of earthly problems and temptations.

All my searching led to frustration. The answer is not in special knowledge. The answer is not in faithfulness to disciplines like "quiet time." While these can be good things, none of them is the key.

There is only one key. There is only one answer. The key and the answer is Jesus Christ.

When you and I are united with Jesus in spirit, we contain the power of the Living God.

We are chock full of spiritual fruit in all its aspects: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.

Our prayers have real power. They change things and bring blessing.

Trust God. Take Him at His word. Because His life fills you, your potential is far beyond anything you have imagined. Your potential is Jesus. As He is, so are you in this world.
