Jesus Gets Us

Everything Jesus did while He walked the earth, He did by faith.

Knowing this helps us better understand what He did for us.

He experienced what it's like for us to deny our senses and press on through life by faith. (see Hebrews 5:8)
He lived by faith in dependence upon God. (see John 5:19-20)
He also demonstrated the trustworthiness of God.

First by going to the cross despite his senses shouting for Him to escape. (see Matthew 26:39)

Then again, by rising from the dead by the same Spirit that lives in you, Saint. (see Romans 8:11)

By this we are assured that God will fulfill his promise to us of eternal life through Christ.

That's the way of grace. In Christ, God demonstrates His love for us.
