You Are Chosen

Beloved of the Lord,

He chose you for salvation from the beginning.

Not in a capricious way, picking one and rejecting another, that's not love.

He reconciled the world to Himself in Christ and He chose to give life to all who change their minds and agree to be reconciled by believing on Jesus for right relationship with God. (see 2 Corinthians 5 :17-21)

He chose to give you salvation (life out of death) through setting you apart (sanctifying you) by His Spirit and faith in the Truth (Jesus).

Why did He do this?

So that you could have the glory of Jesus Christ.

That's what's in you, beloved of God. It's leaking out even when you don't notice.
