We're Waiting for Something

Perhaps it's more accurate to say that we are waiting for someOne.

The return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ is the event, and He is the someOne.

The first time He came, He gave Himself to do some amazing things. Among the many things He came to do, He came to redeem us and He came to purify us for Himself.

In doing this, Titus 2:14 tells us, we became His very own, and we became eager to do what is good.

When He returns, He won't be dealing with sin. That's completely finished already.

Instead, He will be coming to rule and reign over the new heaven and earth.

He will be coming to complete the glorification of His children.

It will be a glorious day. Do not lose hope.
