Mercy & Grace Are Yours

Mercy and Grace Are Yours

Hebrews 4:15–16 (NASB95)

15For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
16Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus is a Spirit. Like us, He has a soul and lives in a body. After He rose from the dead, His body, though having new properties, still bore the marks of the nails and spear inflicted upon Him at the cross.

He experienced earthly life just as we do.
He faced temptation in the same areas we do.
He was betrayed by a close friend, just as we may be.

Jesus feels your pain.
Jesus can sympathize with what you have been through.
Jesus understands your weakness. Jesus experienced all of it and, walking by faith, never once sinned.

It is because of all this that we can confidently take every weakness, failure, and anxious thought to Him. We can approach the throne of grace without fear.

We will not find judgement.
We will not find condemnation.
We will not find a reminder of our failures.
We will not find guilt.

Run to Papa. At His throne, you will find mercy and grace to help you.
