You Have the Mind of Christ

Paul said that we have the mind of Christ. This is good news indeed.

Holy Spirit knows all things including the deep things of God.

Holy Spirit lives in us.

Holy Spirit teaches us spiritual things.

These things seem like foolishness to those who are not in Christ, but they are life to us.

Some of the things the Spirit teaches us are mysteries.

The mystery of God having planned our redemption before the world existed.

The mystery of Christ in us.

The mystery of how the crucifixion of Jesus provides forgiveness, freedom, and life.

Holy Spirit also shows us all the things that God has freely given us.

He shows us truth about what He has prepared for us.

He changes the desires of our hearts to be in line with His loving and holy nature.

So we have the mind of Christ:

To help us understand the mystery of Christ in us,

To enable us to know all He has done for us,

To show us what's godly and loving, which is how we now want to live.

What an amazing gift.
