Just a Reminder

Just a Reminder

With all the input our minds get from the world, it's easy to forget who we are and what great things Christ has done.

We can feel like we are just earthly fleshly people and forget that we are citizens of the kingdom of God and not of this world.

The enemy would love for us to feel guilty about that.

2 Peter 1:12-15 can be a real help.

Peter says that even though we know the truth and are firmly established in it, he will be sure to remind us. (v12)

He goes so far as to tell us that he is going to take steps to ensure that we will be able to remember these things even after he's gone. (v15)

(He did that by writing it down.)

So don't let the enemy accuse you of being a weak Christian, or uncommitted, or some kind of spiritual loser.

We all need reminding, and that's OK.
