Stand

When difficult days come, Father has not left you defenseless.

You have His armor and all of it fits you perfectly.

Truth gives you a strong base of support. Jesus is the Truth. The Spirit within you guides you into all Truth. Truth makes you free.

Like body armor, righteousness covers you. Jesus was made to be sin so that you could be made the righteousness of God, and that is what you are. Who can bring any charge against you? You are righteous, blameless, holy, and beyond accusation.

The Gospel of peace, the best news ever, prepares you for what the world throws at you. Knowing the grace of God, you are at rest as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

Faith (that quiet fully-assured knowing) that you are safe in Jesus Christ makes the accusations of the enemy completely ineffective. That old snake's cutting lies bounce off the force field of faith.

Protecting your mind is the knowledge that Jesus has given you salvation. You've been bought and no longer owe any debt. You are His and He is yours and you cannot be snatched out of Him, come what may.

The word of God is in your arsenal. The enemy may lie and accuse, but the word of God cuts through all of it with Truth. The enemy is toothless. All bark and no bite. God's word, the Truth, is his Kryptonite.

With all this armor, you can stand firm. The evil one cannot touch you. Father will not leave you.
